Rose promotes research at the Woodrow Wilson School by way of feature stories, news releases and research briefs, Q&As, news tips, podcasts and social media. 

Prior to coming to Princeton, she was the science writer at the University of Pittsburgh and, before that, the assistant director of public relations at the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC). She's also worked for non-profit organizations in Washington, D.C., and Pittsburgh. 

Rose earned a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Baltimore and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and English from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. A fiction writer, Rose also serves as an editor at Pretty Owl Poetry, an online literary journal.
