Peter Baker: Days of Fire: Bush and Cheney in the White House

Peter Baker, White House correspondent for The New York Times, presented a public talk based on his new book, "Days of Fire: Bush and Cheney in the White House," Baker is also a contributing writer for The New York Times Magazine covering President Obama and his administration. This is the third U.S. president he has covered. Prior to joining the The Times, Baker was with The Washington Post where he covered President George W. Bush’s second term, including the Iraq war, Hurricane Katrina, Supreme Court nominations and midterm elections. He also covered President Bill Clinton’s second term, co-writing the story that broke the Monica Lewinsky scandal and serving as the paper’s lead writer on the subsequent House impeachment battle and Senate trial.
