Nuclear Legacies: A Global Look at the 70th Anniversary of the Hiroshima Bombing

The conference is co-sponsored by the Center for International Security Studies, the Future of Multilateralism Fund of the Woodrow Wilson School, the McCosh-Orita Fund of the East Asian Studies Program, the Princeton Institute for International and Regional Studies, the Princeton-University of Tokyo Research Partnership, and the University Center for Human Values.

The conference will bring together scholars from different disciplines and global points of view to reflect on the implications, significance, and interpretations of the Hiroshima bombing as it has played out in various eras during the last seven decades.  Hosted by Professor John Ikenberry of the Woodrow Wilson School and Department of Politics and Professor Michael Gordin of the Department of History, the conference is open to all in the Princeton University community.  Registration is required by emailing cernst@princeton.edu.
