The Office of Population Research was established in 1936 to develop research and instruction in demography. OPR faculty associates' broad interests span the fields of population and environment, population and development, population policy, poverty and child well-being, demographic anthropology, social and economic demography, health and well-being, and statistical and mathematical demography. Niehaus Center for Globalization and Governance (NCGG)
The Niehaus Center for Globalization and Governance aims to bring together a large and dynamic community of scholars and students interested in the academic and policy dimensions of globalization and international governance. The Center’s mission is to foster greater integration among various parts of the social sciences at Princeton University. The Center promotes interdisciplinary research at Princeton; numerous faculty members from the WWS, Politics, Economics, History and Sociology Departments are associated with the Center and involved in its projects. Center for Health and Wellbeing (CHW)
The Center for Health and Wellbeing sponsors research and teaching on the multiple aspects of health and well-being in both developed and developing countries. It provides research support to faculty members and students, sponsors conferences, research seminars, and public lectures, and hosts a visiting fellows program that brings researchers and post-doctoral students to Princeton.
